Still alive

Got my government test back today. 95 or 96 depending on the angle I read the handwriting at, which is well ahead of the class it sounds and quite satisfactory. This is the test where I'd walked into class wondering why I wasn't going to cut and saw everybody else had blue books out.

So anyway. Linguistics midterm on Thursday, and that shall be a bear. Pain.

Work is going fine, they made me verify today which is more boring, but none of what I do now is exactly mentally stimulating. I wonder if I'll be able to make any evaluation sessions in February, or will they all be after I plan to leave?

Dance was fun as always, we taught a couple of foxtrot moves and refined some waltz. Oh yeah, and the hesitation weave. That's always real tricky. Introduced the triple step. All fun as always. After class was over and the students gone, as always the swingers came out and started playing their games. Given how many times the girls get dropped, I'm surprised they still do, but those more inhibited of us just sit back, watch and point. Crazy folks. I'd have to pump a lot of iron to pull that stuff off.
